July Update: Backer Surveys

Hi all,
We’re on the home stretch now: copies of One Billion Users have arrived in the country and are currently en route to our fulfillment center — their last stop before we ship them out to you! And that means it’s time to fill out your backer survey with your shipping details and finalize your order.
Keep an eye on your email inbox for a notification with a link to Backerkit. Some surveys have already been sent out, and the remainder will go out tomorrow. Please fill out the survey by August 1st to ensure there are no additional delays in receiving your game(s).
All your tier rewards and add-ons purchased through Kickstarter will be reflected in Backerkit. If you previously filled out our earlier survey to reserve additional copies of the game beyond what you purchased on Kickstarter, your Backerkit cart should be pre-populated with these copies. You can also add more copies while filling out the survey, but if you plan to do so then act quickly — we have a very limited supply of additional copies available.

June Update: On The Ocean

Hi all,
Great news: the manufacturing of One Billion Users is now complete, and the games are on a container ship headed to the US as we speak! If you want to follow along, it’s aboard the Cosco Netherlands.
The ship is scheduled to arrive in mid-July, but we don’t know how long it will take for the games to get through customs; after that they will travel across the country to our fulfillment center in Minnesota. Hopefully it will all go smoothly, and then we’ll be able to get copies shipped out to our backers.
We’re still finalizing the setup of our Backerkit portal, where you’ll be able to fill out your shipping details and purchase additional copies (we’re reserving copies for everyone who filled out the form to request one, and we may have a very limited supply beyond that). Stay tuned for an update when this is ready.
May Update: Production Is Almost Done!

Hi all,
Sorry for being a bit late on our May update, but we’re happy to report that production of all copies of One Billion Users will be finished in about two weeks!
Now that we have a timeline for finishing production, we’re getting our space reserved on a container ship. The games should be departing for the US before the end of the month, and our fulfillment center is ready and waiting to receive them.
Very soon, we’ll be launching a Backerkit portal where you can finalize your shipping details as well as purchase additional copies (we’re reserving copies for everyone who filled out the form to request one, and we may have a very limited supply beyond that).
We’ll be back with another update as soon as this is ready, and then we expect deliveries to happen by late summer!
Last Chance To Buy More Copies

This is just a quick update to let everyone know that we’re about to lock in our final order quantity with the printers, so this is your last chance to buy additional copies of One Billion Users — we’ll be closing sales at the end of the day tomorrow, May 7th.
If you’re already a backer and you want to add additional copies to your pledge, please fill out this form before the deadline to let us know. We’ll make sure we have enough copies for you, and you’ll be able to pay for them later when we begin fulfilling orders.
Non-backers can make a late pledge to the Kickstarter campaign before the deadline, and select reward tiers and add-ons as normal. If you know anyone who you think might want to get a copy, please let them know!
We still have no plans to produce any more copies of the game after this run. If we have some left over after fulfilling everyone’s orders, we might make them available at some point in the future, but there’s no guarantee of that either — this is likely your last chance to get your hands on One Billion Users!
April Update: Production Begins!

Hi everyone,
We are thrilled to announce that One Billion Users is now officially entering production! We also want to show off some photos of the sample copy we received from the printer, which you can see below.
This also means we soon have to lock in our order quantity, so there’s now only one week left to order additional copies. For backers, that means you should fill out this form before the end of May 7th to inform us of your intent to buy (you’ll be able to lock in the order and pay for the additional copies later). For anyone who hasn’t backed us yet, the Kickstarter campaign is accepting late pledges, also through the end of May 7th — so if you have any friends or family who have been thinking about getting a copy, let them know they need to act fast!
We currently have no plans to produce any further copies of One Billion Users beyond the Kickstarter run, so this is likely your last chance.
Timeline Update
As we shared in our last update, there was a slight delay with our physical sample copy. Once we received it, there were a few small issues to fix: the artwork on some parts of the box was slightly misaligned, and we found that a few of the Network cards were a little bit difficult to read once we saw the colors in print. We quickly made the necessary art adjustments, and verified everything via photos from the factory (to avoid an additional delay from waiting for another physical proof copy). Now everything’s looking great and we’ve officially signed off — soon the presses will start rolling.
So at this point we’re behind schedule, but not by much. We won’t quite hit our original goal of fulfillment in June, but everything’s looking good for copies to arrive at our fulfillment center in the US this summer, at which point we’ll move as quickly as we can to fulfill everyone’s orders. We’ll continue to bring you updates as production proceeds and the timeline gets more exact.
